항상 세계 초연인 것처럼 연주하라.” 


지휘자 니콜라우스 아르농쿠르는 역사 인식과 동시대 정신을 함께 구현하지 않는다면 과거의 음악은 의미가 없다고 주장했다


그것이    전에 작곡된 음악을 오늘날까지 수백수천 번씩 다시 반복해서 연주하는 이유다.


 아르농쿠르의 말이 맞다면 작품에 대한 천편일률적인 해석이 늘어가는 현상은 


 장르가  이상 우리가 살고 있는 오늘을 반영하지 못하고 수명을 다해간다는 증거다. 


내가 클래식 음악을 구원하겠다 쿠렌치스의 2005 선언은 이런 맥락에서 이해 가능하다


그는 적어도 지금까지는 자신의 선언을 충실하게 이행해왔다


자신의 수족과도 같은 앙상블 무지카 에테르나를 이끌고  세상에  번도 존재한 적이 없는 라모모차르트쇼스타코비치스트라빈스키를 들려줬다


하늘 아래  이상 새로울  없을  같았던 차이콥스키의 교향곡 6 ‘비창에도 파격을 실어 듣는 이들을 놀라게 했다


쿠렌치스의 이런 행보에 청중들의 반응은 호불호가 엇갈렸다


쿠렌치스의 카리스마와 통제력이 무지카 에테르나를 넘어서 오랜 전통을 가진 다른 악단에도 유효할 것인가에 대한 의구심 또한 


평가를 유보하게 만드는 원인이었다.


쿠렌치스는 그동안  심포니말러 체임버 오케스트라남서독 방송 관현악단(SWR) 


다양한 유럽 악단을 객원지휘하며  질문에 답하고자 노력했다


올해 처음 SWR 수장으로 부임하면서 자신의 리더십을 본격적으로 실험하기 시작했다


슈투트가르트 취임 연주회에서 연주한 말러 교향곡 3번은 쿠렌치스답게 예의 주관적인 선택이었다.


 ‘하르몰리피 charmolypi’. 쿠렌치스는  교향곡을 “슬픈 행복 뜻하는 그리스어로 표현하며


자신이 음악을 사랑하게  동기이자 젊은 시절 겪은 개인적 상처와 관계된 작품이라 설명했다


SWR 취임 이전부터 쿠렌치스는 무지카 에테르나와 말러 교향곡 4번을 연주하며  작곡가에 대한 자신의 유난한 관심을 어필해 왔다.


무지카 에테르나와 함께 녹음한 말러 교향곡 6번도 역시 팬들의 기대를 저버리지 않는다


우선 해석의 출발점부터 남다르다


그동안 말러 교향곡 6번에 대한해석은 대부분 작곡가의 부인 알마가 자신의 회고록에 적어놓은 증언에 의지해온 것이 사실이다


알마는  교향곡이 남편이 이후 겪을 여러 비극적 불행을 예고한 예지적 작품이라 적고 있다


알마의 증언을 발판삼아 교향곡의 4악장 피날레에 삽입된 3번의 나무 해머 타격을 말러가 작곡 이후인 1907 겪은 ‘3중의 운명의 타격’, 


  마리아의  이른 죽음자신의 심장병 발병그리고  오페라 감독직 사임에 비유하는 경우도 많다


말러가  교향곡과 비슷한 시기에 ‘죽은 아이를 그리는 노래’  세곡을 완성했고


3악장 1주제가 ‘죽은 아이를 그리는 노래’   번째  ‘아이들은 잠시 외출했을 뿐이다 


조성(E♭장조) 분위기가 비슷하다는 점은 이런 알마의 주장에 신빙성을 더해줬다.


그러나 말러가  교향곡을 작곡한 1903~4년은 말러의 인생 중에서도 유례없이 안정적이고 행복하던 시기였다.


 무엇보다 1903 둘째  안나가 태어났고알마 또한 “  여름은  어떤 갈등도 없이 기쁘고 행복했다 증언했다.


 ‘비극적이라는 제목 또한 말러가 직접 붙인 것이 아니며 


초판본은 제목 없이 출판됐다(다만 “말러가  작품을 ‘비극적이라 불렀다 제자 브루노 발터의 증언이 있을 뿐이다). 


쿠렌치스는  교향곡이 의미하는 ‘비극 말러 개인의 인생사와 아무 상관이 없다고 선을 긋는다


쿠렌치스가  교향곡에서 떠올리는 ‘비극 고대 그리스 드라마의 비극이다(그리스 연극배우 출신인 그만이 떠올릴  있는 참신한 해석이다!). 


 이유를 설명하려는  쿠렌치스는 말러가 차용한 음악적 재료들의 보편성을 든다


말러 음악의 미덕은 누구도 시도한  없는 낯선 발견에서 기인하지 않는다


행진곡과 아이들의 놀이 소리민요시골의 전원 풍경  어디서나 들어봄직하고 누구에게나 익숙한 소재들을 이용해서


 완전히 다른 새로운 우주를 창조해내는 것이 말러의 능력이었다


이는 인간세상에서 흔히 일어나는 보편적인 사건을 이용해 특별한 순간을 만드는 그리스 비극과 일맥상통한다


그리스 비극을 보면서 어디선가  듯이 느껴지는 기시감이 말러 교향곡을들을 때도 문득문득 느껴지는 것은  때문이다.


지휘자의 의도에 섬세하게 반응하며 음표로 이루어진 한편의 드라마를 만들어내는 무지카 에테르나의 역량은 그저 놀랍기만 하다


가장 통속적인 3악장 안단테에서조차 미세하게 변형되는 ‘요람 모티프 


‘8분음표 모티프들의 차이가 집요하게 부각되는 모습은 다소 징그러워 소름끼칠 정도다


지금까지의 말러교향곡 연주에서 들리지 않았던 여러 소리가  음반에서 들려온다


더욱 놀라운 사실은 소리가 전혀 새롭지 않고 몹시 익숙하다는 점이다.

    1) Kpop Items
    All of kpop items are non-refundable. For some items, cancellations after payment completed are not allowed.
    Most of KPOP items are pre-order items. Customer can order items during pre-order period. After pre-order period, shop will begin to produce items according to order list. If you cancel items during producing period, shop cannot sell it to anyone one else because order period ended.

    2) Handmade & Customizable Items
    Due to personal configuration, inscription, or design on these products, seller is not required to accept returns or exchanges unless the products are damaged or defective upon arrival. Include customizable shoes, customizable clothes, pre-order jewelry and watches, ect.

    3) Underwear
    Underwear, sock, legggings, stockings are not refundable on OKDGG, but may be refundable.

    4) Stated Non-Refundable on Detail Page
    For some items, it stated items are non-refundable on detail page. Or set non-refundable as an option, you can find it when add items into cart(It may be in Korean language). In this case, items are non-refundable according to the policy of sellers.

    Cancellation Fee
    What is cancellation fee?
    Cancellation Fee is that the losses of Korea domestic shipping fee by reason of customers cancellation request. If shop has shipped items to DGG warehouse when they get cancellation request from customer, customer should take responsible for the Korea domestic shipping cost losses.

    How to calculate cancellation fee?
    Cancellation fee is KRW 5000 (about $4.5) for each shop.
    (One shop $4.5, two shops $9, three shops $12.5...)

    How cancellation fee is charged?
    If charged, cancellation fee will be deduted from your refund.
    In case shop has not shipped your items or orders, you will get full refund without cancellation fee deduted.

    Cancellation fee may be charged in following 2 cases.
    1) Before order shipped international, customer requested to cancel orders or items, but items has been shipped by shop.
    2) In case of return after customer received items, cancellation fee will be deducted from refund.
    About Refunds

    Ⓐ If you used credit or debit card linking with your Paypal or Alipay, the refund will be back to that card. Depends on your card issuer, it may takes up to 30 days for your refund to appear on your card statement.
    Ⓑ If you paid using your Paypal & Alipay balance, the refund will be back to your PayPal account.
    Ⓒ If you paid using both card and your PayPal balance, the amount paid with the card is refunded to that card. The remaining amount will be refunded to your PayPal account.

    Q. How much does it cost for International Shipping?
    For 'General Delivery' items, the free shipping service is applied when the total amount of one order is over $120 as before. When it's below than $120, the delivery could be started after the initial shipping cost is paid. But, even if your 'General Delivery' order is exceed $120 or order them including the prepaid shipping cost (when your order is required the free shipping condition), you could be charged for the extra shipping costs caused from the excessed weight of specific items (for foods and K-pop goods and so on).
